Privacy Notice

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, message, and any company or phone number you choose to provide. A DMCA notice also includes the contact information, mailing address, signature, statements, and copyright details needed to review and respond to the notice.

When a form is submitted, our server receives the browser user-agent and the IP address supplied with the request. While forms are delivered through Firestore, we store those details with the submission. Our hosting and file-delivery providers may also process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site.

ControlsList does not require accounts or use advertising cookies. My List selections are kept in browser session storage and normally clear when that session ends. The catalog update marker is kept in local storage and can remain after you close the browser. You can remove either by clearing ControlsList's browser data.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. It processes page views and related information such as the page address, referrer, time, approximate region, and browser or device type. It does not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not intentionally send contact or DMCA form contents as analytics events. We also keep daily counts in our private Sitrep dashboard for page views, browsing sessions, referring sites, searches by result-count range, catalog and PDF-link interactions, My List additions, and grouped-download outcomes. We do not record search terms, form contents, or visitor IDs in these counts. A session-storage marker helps count a browser session once per day; it clears with the browser session. Counts may be approximate and are retained as aggregate history.

We use submitted information to respond to messages, review copyright notices, maintain ordinary business and legal records, and protect the site from misuse. To process a copyright dispute, we may share a notice with the person or provider responsible for the identified material and may share an applicable counter-notice with the original claimant. We do not sell or rent personal information, and ControlsList does not collect payment-card information.

Contact messages and copyright notices are handled in T2X's internal systems. Depending on the active delivery configuration, a submission is sent to our Cloud Firestore database or to a Sitrep inbox; delivery does not automatically fall back to the other system. ControlsList is hosted on Vercel, and hosted datasheets are delivered from a public Vercel Blob store when you open a PDF. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services and may process data in locations where they or their service providers operate.

We share information with service providers that host, store, or support ControlsList and when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We retain submitted information for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain business records, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. Access is limited to people and providers with a business need to handle it.

You can browse the catalog without submitting a form. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, please contact T2X from the email address used in the request so we can verify and locate the record. We may need to retain limited information where required or permitted by law.

We may update this notice as ControlsList changes. The date above identifies the most recent version.
